Children's Church--Kid's For Christ (KFC)

For children, ages 3 to 12, to enjoy the worship and learning experience in an atmosphere just for kids. The programs include praise and worship, snack time, and Bible-oriented classes and activities taught by volunteers. While the adults are attending services, they can be assured that their children are being uniquely ministered to by people who care about their children.

GHC Bookstore

Offers a variety of Christian books, Bibles, reference and study materials, audio CDs, mints, snacks, jewelry, and much more for purchase at a reasonable cost. The main store is conveniently located just inside the entry to the Fellowship Hall and is open on Sundays before service from 9:30 until 10:45 AM. The annex, located at the east end of the foyer to the Sanctuary, is open after service on Sundays--audio CDs and DVDs of the services are available. Stop by today and buy something!


Nursery

Available for children up to the age of 3. Parents are welcome to leave their children in the nursery to enable them to enjoy and participate in the worship services more freely. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to share in the rotation as a nursery worker so more parents can enjoy the services and be comforted in knowing their children are in good hands.

Music Ministry

Plays an important role in the worship experience. The praise teams, musicians, directors, soloists, and choirs all share in promoting a spirit of praise and worship throughout the services. The Music Ministry also sponsors and participates in various concerts, music workshops, and training classes. The primary focus is worshipping God in spirit and in truth so that souls may be saved and lives changed through the love and power of God expressed through music and song.

Reaches out to the community to minister to people who cannot or may not attend church. The Outreach Ministry goes regularly to the Horizon Nursing Home, the Albuquerque Rescue Mission, and to the prisons throughout the year.

Assists in the orderly flow of the service by helping ensure the congregation is comfortable, meeting special needs without interrupting the service, controlling traffic in and out of church, and greeting everyone with courtesy and a friendly smile.

Promotes unity and fellowship by allowing special times and services where men can come together to share experiences and encourage one another. The men sponsor periodic programs, seminars, and breakfasts that include inspirational speakers and informative discussions focused on men's issues.

Promotes unity and fellowship by allowing special times and services where women can come together to share experiences and encourage one another. The women sponsor periodic programs, prayer breakfasts, and seminars focused on women's issues.



Youth Ministry--AMPLIFIED

Provides programs designed for young people ages 12-24.   Highlights include Youth Services, Friday Night Live, Radical Praise, Flight Squad, U.N.I.T.Y., and Saint Mob.   It's all about young people utilizing their talents, gifts, skills, and abilities to demonstrate their love and commitment to Christ and to draw other young people in.

Audio/Video Ministry

Provides audio/video support for worship services and special occasions; provides projection services; including, presentations and DVDs to enhance worship services, Bible classes, seminars, etc.; records designated services and makes CDs and DVDs available for sale through the Bookstore; publishes Sunday service as a streaming video on the internet; provides video monitoring in various locations throughout the church, and provides studio services including recording, editing, and production of CDs and DVDs at a reasonable cost.

Provides design, support, and maintenance of the GHC website.



Pastor's Aide
       Evangelist Senora Smith


Dedicated to meeting the needs of the Pastor. This includes taking care of the Pastor's, and visiting ministers', pulpit and office needs, assisting in providing food for special occasions, and overseeing the Pastor's anniversary services and other celebrations.
